Grants to Oklahoma nonprofit organizations and educational institutions in eligible locations to benefit local youth. Funding is intended to support athletics programs that have a positive influence on local at-risk youth. Eligible applicants must be located within the Oklahoma City limits or the Oklahoma City Public School District.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Wes Welker Foundation awards grants only to 501(c)(3) organizations and educational institutions within the Oklahoma City limits or the Oklahoma City Public School District.
- Located within the Oklahoma City limits or within the geographic area of the Oklahoma City Public School District
- Grantee must be an educational institution or an organization that is tax exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the tax code
- Must serve High School age youth or younger
- Completed grant applications must have 2 signatures on behalf of the applicant, one of which must be an administrator

- Camp Registration Costs
- Items that will only be used one year/season
- Playground equipment
- Meals
- Lockers

Pre-Application Information:


All grants must be received (not postmarked) by the deadline dates listed below:
- Fall Cycle Grant Application Deadline – September 15
- Spring Cycle Grant Application Deadline – February 15

Applications are accepted twice annually. If you submit a grant application after one cycle has closed, your application will be considered and reviewed during the next cycle. This schedule aims to conform to school semester schedules.
