Grants to Indiana nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that benefit residents of eligible regions. Funding is intended for capital requests as well as programming support. Funding areas of interest include public society/benefit, human services, health, environment and animals, education, and arts and humanities. Organizations must be located in and serve Tippecanoe County and the surrounding counties.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette invests in Tippecanoe County nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service Code and who have a clear mission, effective operations, proven successes, strong staff and board leadership, responsible accounting and fiscal management, and sustainability.

The Community Foundation generally does not use grant funds for:
- Endowments
- Individuals
- Ongoing operating expenses
- Religious organizations or candidates
- Programs or capital projects already completed
- Sponsorships

Pre-Application Information:

The Community Foundation has three funding cycles:
- Spring - $7,500 and greater; deadine is noon on March 24, 2022
- Fall - $7,500 and greater; deadline is noon on July 28, 2022
- NOW - $7,500 and less; accepted as of Januray 1, but no later than noon on November 30

You will generally hear back from the Foundation within 4 weeks after the deadline. You will receive either an approval letter or a decline letter in the mail.
