04/30/21 4:30 PM ET
Grants of up to $25,000 to New York nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and educational institutions for environmental projects in eligible regions. Priority will be given to projects that involve youth and educate them about the environment. Eligible projects benefit the environment and economy of New York’s Great Lakes basin by demonstrating the application of ecosystem-based management (EBM) to local watershed challenges.
NYSG is soliciting proposals for projects that implement actions outlined in the goals of the Great Lakes Action Agenda (GLAA). For this RFP, NYSG has chosen not to highlight a specific goal, but is focusing the request for projects on those that engage youth (under 21) in either formal or informal educational experiences. In order to be eligible, all applicants must address, and identify in your proposal, at least one goal from the GLAA that you will be focusing your project on.
