Grants to Connecticut nonprofit organizations for human services and education programs that further child welfare and education within the state. Special consideration will be given to organizations that offer training to elementary or secondary school teachers with the goal of helping children achieve a better standard of living.

Grants from the Carse Foundation are one year in duration. Applicants will not be awarded a grant for more than three consecutive years.
Grants support tax-exempt, IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) public charities.
Grant requests for general operating support or capital projects will not be considered.
The Elizabeth Carse Foundation has an annual deadline of August 15.
Please submit online applications by 11:59 PM on the day of the foundation’s deadline date. If the deadline falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, applications are due on the next business day by 11:59 PM.
Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within two to three months after the proposal deadline.
