Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations and government agencies to address community needs in eligible counties. Eligible programs may fall into one of the following funding priorities: connected people and thriving communities. Programs must benefit the residents of Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington counties.
As part of the competitive grantmaking process, the Foundation places its highest funding priorities on projects and initiatives that align with its Thriving Communities and Connected People strategies.
Thriving Communities
The Foundation's goal: To catalyze community-driven change in neighborhoods that historically have faced barriers to revitalization.
Connected People
The Foundation's goal: Every child in the city of Milwaukee is prepared to enter school.
Priorities:
Generally, the Foundation awards grants to an organization for up to one year although they may be longer, given program priorities.
