Grant Description
Grants of up to $5,000 to Iowa nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to benefit local children and youth in need. Priority will be given to proposals addressing educational, economic, and social issues of young residents. Activities should benefit eligible children and youth between the ages of 6 and 19 in Lee County.

The mission of Lee County Youth Services, Inc. is to provide opportunities and support for youth in need and those who serve them. Lee County Youth Services, Inc. is committed to a program of social responsibility and community involvement/education.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit organizations that serve the youth of Lee County Iowa are invited to submit applications for grants. Requirements for funding approval include that the applicant be a tax exempt 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization; in which services are to be delivered to individuals under the age of 19 living in Lee County Iowa.

Pre-Application Information
Application must be postmarked on or before October 2, 2023, to be accepted. Approved applicants will be notified by November 15, 2023.
