Grant Description
Grants and in-kind volunteer services to Texas community partners in eligible locations for high-impact projects that promote physical and mental health. Funding is intended for a range of activities including one-day, month-long, or long-term projects. Every project must utilize volunteers from the Junior League in an effective way. Activities must benefit the El Paso community.

Local community partners are encouraged to submit an initial proposal application for a potential project or idea.

Pre-Application Information
The deadline for the initial project proposals will be November 1, 2023.

Term of Contract
JLEP is seeking project proposals that would begin in Summer 2024 and last for at least a year. An alternative, short-term project would begin in February 2024 and last for a month.

Project types:
- Done-in-a-Day – brief volunteer projects that can be done in a day or less.
- Provisional – one-month-long projects that provide an opportunity for new members to work with a community partner within a short time frame and a small budget
- Regular – these projects usually last 1 or more years (June – May) and may involve both a budget and volunteer components.
