Grants of up to $3,000 to Michigan nonprofit organizations, units of government, school districts, and churches for programs and services to benefit youth in eligible locations. Funding is intended for activities and projects that address the needs of local youth. Proposals must benefit the youth of Jackson County. YAC addresses the needs of youth in Jackson County by awarding grants to community organizations that benefit youth. At the same time, it provides the students involved in the program an opportunity to volunteer their time and talents to better their community while developing philanthropic leadership skills and valuable experience.
For information on YAC grants, contact: Cindy Bellew, Youth Advisory Committee & Scholarship Coordinator by email at cbellew@jacksoncf.org or call the office at (517) 787-1321.
