Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District (UYWCD)
12/31/18
Grants of up to $500 to Colorado individuals and organizations in Routt and Moffat Counties for the purchase and installation of water measuring or control devices in the Upper Yampa watershed. This program offers grants to entities with irrigation infrastructure affected by water diversion and regulations.
The State of Colorado Division of Natural Resources through the Division of Water Resources, Division 6 Office sent notices to many water users indicating that operable headgates and measuring devices will be required for diversions to be appropriately administered. As a local agency promoting the protection of water rights and beneficial use of water, the UYWCD is offering grants to those with irrigation infrastructure affected by the administration of water by the Division of Water Resources.
The installation must be approved by the Division of Water Resources, Division 6, Division Engineer as acceptable for administration.
GrantWatch ID#: 148295
Each grant will cover only 50% of the total cost incurred per installation, up to $500.
