Grants totaling $60,000 to Cherokee County, Georgia groups and organizations for programs and projects that provide assistance to children in need and their families. Funding is intended to aid organizations and groups that have projects and ideas that will positively impact children in the area.

Funding will be divided into two categories, as follows:

- For Community Impact Grants ($5,000 or greater), organizations must have a new idea or new project or program for funding.
- Special Project applications ($4999.99 or less) do not have to be a new idea or new project or program. It must be a service project that serves the needs of children.

Community Impact Grants are for requests of $5,000 or greater. Special Project applications are for requests of $4,999.99 or less.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Funding is provided to assist groups and organizations in the community who have ideas and projects that will make a positive impact on children.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications must be received or postmarked by January 31, 2018. Winners will be notified by February 14, 2018.
