City of Salem Cultural and Tourism Promotion Advisory Board
Grants of up to $2,000 and grants of up to $10,000 to Salem, Oregon nonprofit organizations for the marketing and promotion of community and cultural events. Deadline TBA. Applicants must attend the October 10 or October 12 pre-application meeting to apply. The purpose of this grant is to support local historic cultural facilities, special events, and tourist attractions. Events must be open to the public.
Transient Occupancy Tax grants provide marketing and promotion support for Salem historic and cultural facilities such as Deepwood, Bush House, and the Willamette Heritage Center; tourist attractions such as the Gilbert House Museum and the Riverfront Carousel; and special events like World Beat, the Salem Art Fair, and Magic at the Mill.

Events must be scheduled between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019.
Events may be hosted by nonprofit 501(c) organizations listed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
