USA: Alaska: Organizations within the Foundation's Service Area: Southern Kenai Peninsula, from Ninilchik South including the communities across Kachemak Bay
Grants to Alaska nonprofit organizations, government units, schools, and tribes in eligible areas for programs and projects that benefit local youth. Preference will be given to after-school activities and to programs that target ages 4-14. Eligible proposals improve the quality of life for young people within the Foundation's Service Area: Southern Kenai Peninsula, from Ninilchik South including the communities across Kachemak Bay.
Eligibility:
- Non-Profit Organizations within the service area recognized by the IRS under section 501(c)(3), and other qualified not-for-profit entities.
- Societies and Groups not recognized by the IRS under section 501(c)(3), but functioning to enhance the quality of life within the service area are eligible for consideration for projects that benefit the communities served. Contact the Foundation to discuss your project before submitting an application.
- Tribal Entities
- Municipal governments including school districts.
Pre-Application Information
Program Deadline: November 28, 2023 at 11:59 PM AKST (Midnight)
If the grant application is for multiple organizations, a collaboration, or a project that will happen on other organizations' property (program, event, or structure), at least one letter of support from the partner organization is required.
Consideration is given only to applications requesting funding at least 30 days prior to the need for funding.
All grant applications from schools must be approved by the building administrator and district office.
