Grants of up to $5,000 to Washington nonprofit organizations to provide arts activities and programs to youth or to disadvantaged communities in eligible locations. Funding is intended to offer arts programming and arts-based experiences and education to lower-income youth who live in Pierce County but outside the city limits of Tacoma, or to areas of Pierce County that are underserved by arts and cultural activities.
Applications will be evaluated by the Arts Commission using a variety of criteria, including the following:
