Grant to a USA student entrepreneur for support in launching an innovative product or service that will impact the business world. An information session will be held on November 19. Young, university enrolled or recently graduated entrepreneurs will compete with their ideas and pitches for a prize package that will help propel their business to the next level.

The prize package consists of $100,000 in funding as well as access to networking through Kevin Plank, founder and CEO of Under Armour.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should be a current student or an alumni of an accredited college or university and be 30 years old or younger as of January 6, 2015.

Cupid's Cup is an international business competition. Applicants must demonstrate they have moved beyond the business plan stage.

The business must be a legal business entity that has generated at least $5,000 in revenue. If this revenue requirement is not met, the company must have paying customers or critical mass of users.

Pre-proposal Conference:

The Cupid's Cup information session will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 4:00 PM EST. During this online session, organizers will walk through the application process, then answer any questions.

You will receive an email with a participation link and more instructions closer to November 19.

Pre-Application Information:

The application phase runs from November 1, 2014, to January 5, 2015 (11:59 PM EST). There is no fee to apply. Applications are managed through Pitch Burner. The final competition will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

Finalists will be selected and announced the day of the semifinal competition. From there, finalists will be provided with coaching sessions leading up to the final competition to ensure they are prepared. More information will be distributed to the finalists once they are selected.

February 2015 - Round One Semi-finalists announced
March 12, 2015 - Semi-final Competition at Under Armour Headquarters
April 22, 2015 - Startup Showcase and Competition at the University of Maryland
