Request a Grant Writer

Grants to Illinois PreK-5 teachers or teams of teachers at public or private schools in eligible counties for high-impact projects and programs. Funding is intended to support programming not ordinarily included in the school budget. Eligible applicants teach at schools located within Kane, DuPage, Kendall, or Will County. The school or program must serve 20% or more of children from a “low-income family/household”.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the grant:
1. Teachers must be employed full-time or part-time at any public or private school serving students who are in pre-k through fifth grade.
2. The school or program must serve a minimum of 20% or more of children from a “low-income family/household” within DuPage, Kane, Kendall, or Will County, Illinois. A “low-income family/household” is defined as having an annual income that does not exceed 200% of the federal poverty line. School is located within Kane, DuPage, Kendall, or Will County

Grants may not be used to fund food and/or refreshments.
