Washburn Community Education Foundation (WCEF)
Grants of up to $2,000 to Wisconsin nonprofits, individuals, and businesses to support educational projects in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support new and creative educational activities that impact all ages in or out of the classroom. Applications are invited for projects that promote creative thinking, innovative ideas, scholarship, teaching, professional development, the development of talents or intellect, learning outside of the classroom, and community involvement. Grants must target students and residents of the Washburn School District.
The "Big Idea": Requests for larger size grants should be for exciting, one-time projects that provide important, unique, and new opportunities for learning in the Washburn service area.
