Grants to South Carolina nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs and activities that benefit children and youth from underserved populations. Funding is intended to assist local organizations that provide services to youth with special needs or that offer educational opportunities for underserved, disadvantaged, and/or minority children. Eligible applicants serve Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester Counties; registered 501(c)(3), or has secured the sponsorship of a registered 501(c)(3); not a political or lobbying organization; does not discriminate; and did not receive $5,000 or more during the previous Blackbaud Fund grant cycle.
Applications are due by January 15, at 5:00 PM, or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend.
Finalist organizations will be contacted in early February and asked to submit additional information. Select groups may receive a site visit and/or follow questions, with final decisions announced in mid-April.
