Grants of up to $5,000 to Indiana nonprofit organizations, government entities, and educational organizations in eligible areas for programs and projects that strengthen the local community and empower women. Priority funding is intended to support proposals that improve the well-being and health of girls and women in Benton County.

Preference is given to programs that:

  • Reach as many people as possible
  • Serve Benton County residents
  • Are run by a collaboration of non-profit organizations
  • Have multiple sources of funding for the project

The top grant award could be up to $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants are awarded to organizations serving local women and girls. Types of applicant organization include 501(c)3, government, and education.

Benton Community Foundation grant programs generally do not fund:
- Ongoing operating expenses
- Individuals
- Special events such as parades, festivals and sporting events
- Debt or deficit reduction

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for submissions is 5:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2020.

Grant recipients will be notified in November.

Recipients are required to attend the Cookie Jar Soiree on April 29th to share with Cookie Jar members.
