Grants of up to $3,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions in eligible locations for programs to prevent crime. Funding is intended for new and current programs and to increase community awareness. Due to the impact the COVID-19 crisis has had on community nonprofits, the Foundation is currently considering requests for operational support in addition to specific program needs. Eligible organizations are located in Brown County.
For a crime to occur, these three elements are necessary:
Successful crime prevention programs directly impact one of these three elements. The program or project must aim to reduce or eliminate at least one of the three elements noted above.
