Grant Description
Grants of up to $2,000 to Virginia schools in eligible locations for initiatives that promote health and wellness. Funding is intended to implement a program or strategy that supports students' mental health, nutrition, and well-being during the school year. Eligible applicants include public elementary, middle, and high schools in the Northern Virginia region, including Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties, and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, and Manassas Park.

Public elementary, middle, and high schools located in Northern Virginia are all eligible to apply.

Pre-Application Information
Timeline for grants process:
- April 17, 2023: The application period opens
- July 6, 2023, 5 pm: Application period closed
- Summer 2023: Decisions made

Schools are limited to one application each year. Multiple applications will not be considered.
