Grant Description

Grants to Canada athletes to support training expenses, including ice fees, coaching/choreography, equipment and off-ice programming or services that support their daily training. Funding is intended to support the development of high performance skaters by providing direct financial assistance to national level and competitive athletes in singles, pair, ice dance and synchronized skating teams.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The grant is available to athletes who receive a Skate Canada 2015-2016 international assignment (ISU Junior Grand Prix, ISU Senior Grand Prix, ISU Challenger Series and ISU Senior International. Athletes who receive 2015-2016 Own the Podium Funding are not eligible for the 2015-2016 High Performance Grant.

In order to receive Skate Canada financial support, skaters must comply with the following conditions:

- Be a current Skate Canada member (to become a member, go to
