Grants to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan organizations for programs and initiatives supporting the surrounding communities. Eligible organizations should benefit the community in the areas of:
- First Nations educational outcomes
- Early childhood education
- Self-reliance initiatives.
The Foundation seeks to help promote growth and support of area communities through its funding.
As a public foundation, SCF fulfills federal regulations for community foundations by awarding grants to qualified donees as defined by the Income Tax Act.
A qualified donee is an organization that can issue official donation receipts for gifts it receives from individuals and corporations. It can also receive gifts from registered charities.

SCF’s mandate is to use income from its funds for charitable purposes within the City of Saskatoon and area.
