Grants of up to $500 to California individuals, organizations, and schools in eligible locations to promote the arts. One-time funding is available to enhance and expand the arts in local communities, with preference given to projects that benefit the greatest number of residents. Funded projects must serve communities in Tehama County. “Arts” as used in this application include, but is not limited to visual, performing and written.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants will not exceed the sum of $500.

Term of Contract:

All recipients are required to provide a final report to TCAC describing how the funds were used by December 30, 2020.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Schools, organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply.

Grants requested to benefit one’s personal property or income will not be considered.

Pre-Application Information:

Please mail the completed application postmarked no later than June 15, 2020.

Applicants will receive notification and/or funding by the end of June, 2020.

As a further condition of the award, recipients are required to take photographs of the project and submit an article for publication to the Red Bluff Daily News and/or Corning Observer.
