Eligible projects take place in Hillsborough County.

Project Types:

  1. It may include "mothballing" of structures that without emergency measures may be lost.
  2. Compatible Additions to Historic Properties, defined as additions or alterations to facilitate adaptive reuse, construction of architecturally appropriate kiosks, information facilities or utility structures or security 2 related equipment or improvements, for historic buildings (as described in Project Type 1, see above paragraph). Eligible projects also may include the reconstruction of lost historic resources.
  3. Improvements to Historic Sites or Grounds, defined as restoration/reuse of other nonbuilding historic places, including associated engineering and architectural costs, security-related equipment, or improvements, such as to cemeteries and gardens.
  4. Heritage Tourism Projects, defined as nonbuilding projects that promote existing historic resources, and heritage tourism, such as the development of print or electronic materials/brochures that support the mission; interpretive, promotional, or wayfinding signage; and development of an exhibit or tour.
