Grants to Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Minnesota charitable organizations, accredited schools, and public agencies for arts projects and programs. Funding is intended to facilitate accessible and affordable cultural opportunities for residents of the seven-county Twin-City region.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To request funding from the Target Foundation, applicant organizations in the seven-county Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota metropolitan area must be either a federally tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, an accredited school, or a public agency.

Target Foundation does not make grants to:
- Organizations outside the seven-county metropolitan area of Minneapolis-St. Paul
- Individuals
- Endowments
- Religious groups for religious purposes
- National ceremonies, memorials, conferences, fundraising dinners, testimonials, or other similar events
- Health, recreation, therapeutic programs and living subsidies
- Elected officials
- Organizations that do not comply with Target's non-discrimination policy

Pre-Application Information:

Arts grant applications are accepted between noon CST January 3 and noon CST February 3, 2017.

Application submission will be followed by an email confirmation. After Target reviews the full application, applicant will receive notification indicating whether grant request has been approved or declined.
