Grants of up to $3,000 to Watertown Area, Connecticut nonprofit organizations for capital improvement projects. Consideration will be given to non-recurring improvement projects rather than annual requests such as equipment or uniform replacements.

The proposed capital expenditure must conform to the Foundation By-Law requirements that it be for charitable, educational, literary, scientific, historical or religious purposes.

The typical award is less than $3,000.

Awards must be spent within 9 months of the approval date, unless a special extension is approved. On occasion, the Foundation will approve a multi-year grant.

Requests from tax-exempt organizations within a fifteen-mile radius of Watertown will be considered.

The application deadline each year is August 15.

Awards will be announced in October.
