Invest Detroit (ID) Ventures
Opportunity for Michigan businesses to showcase innovative new high-tech business concepts to potential investors and compete for business development funding. Applicants must first register before applying. The competition is intended to support entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and taking risks in high-tech industries.
Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition, a program of ID Ventures, is a competition that supports Michigan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their companies to investors while building connections with entrepreneurs, business acceleration resources, and experts in their sector during carefully curated individual meetings.
The competition features the best and brightest seed-stage businesses and introduces them to angel and venture capital firms while awarding up to $1,000,000 in cash and services. Since its launch in 2010, AMIC semi-finalists have created over 1,300 jobs and attracted more than $900 million in additional investment.
