Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation (BTCF) - Quailwood Fund
Grants of up to $10,000 to New York nonprofit organizations and public agencies in eligible areas to enhance the quality of life of local residents and to improve public services. Funding is intended to support public recreation facilities, conservation work, educational scholarships, and fire and rescue facilities. Applications for capital improvements, and other capital acquisitions will be considered provided that they afford maximum community benefit. Programs must serve residents in the Red Rock area.
Eligible projects are those that help retain a strong sense of community in Red Rock by bolstering community gatherings, encouraging a diversity of participation in the life of the community and supporting a wide range of social and economic opportunities for residents.
While applications for publicly funded infrastructure projects (those paid for by tax dollars) are welcome, they need to focus on augmenting the public service rather than replacing them or building them anew.
GrantWatch ID#: 158843
