Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) and The Commerce Trust Company
Grants ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 to Missouri nonprofit organizations, public school districts, and local government agencies to benefit rural communities in the Ozarks region. Applications will be considered for new and innovative programs that fall under the following categories:
-Arts and Culture
-Early Childhood Education - PreK
-Education - K-12
Eligible organizations with regional service areas primarily outside of metropolitan Springfield and Greene County but within the CFO service area are encouraged to apply. This includes rural southern Missouri south of the Missouri River and outside the metro areas of St. Louis and Kansas City.

A $10,000 - $20,000 range is suggested for proposal consideration. Applications which request more than $20,000 will not be considered.
Applications must include a copy of the organization’s 501(c)3 confirmation letter. If your organization is a Missouri public school district or a Missouri government entity (city or county), no copy of the letter is necessary.
In awarding grants, the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status.
