Awards of $15,000 to Alberta artists in eligible areas to recognize and support their artwork and contributions to the local community. Funding is intended to support artists at all stages of their professional careers and in all fields and artistic traditions; to promote their financial stability; and to advance their ability to renew, develop, create or experiment. Artists must be located in the Greater Edmonton Region: City of Edmonton and the Counties of Sturgeon, Parkland, Leduc, and Strathcona, and the Indigenous communities adjacent.

The Edmonton Artists' Trust Fund (EATF) is designed to invest in Edmonton’s creative community and to encourage artists to stay in the community. Funds may be used to offset living and working expenses, allowing the artist to devote a concentrated period of time to his/her artistic activities, career enhancement, and/or development.

Artists facing linguistic or cultural barriers to completing their application, or artists who face barriers because they are Deaf or have a disability, may be eligible for access support. This new initiative provides funding for specialized assistance in conveying the artists' ideas.
