COVID-19 presents a challenge of unprecedented complexity and duration for nonprofit organizations. Many are challenged with increased demand for their services, increased costs, and lost revenue due to closures and cancellations. The Foundation recognizes that operating support will be required for organizations to respond and recover from the crisis. In the past, Foundation funding focused solely on capital and programmatic expenses. This year, administrative expenses - not to exceed 20% of the total funding request - will be accepted. Administrative expenses include portions of Director and employee salaries, occupancy costs, and professional services.
