Grants of up to $5,000 to Canada nonprofit organizations, for-profits, and government agencies to honor veterans of the military. Funding will support commemorative events as well as the development of commemorative learning materials. All projects must address the sacrifices and achievements of individuals who served Canada since Confederation (1867). Projects must also be of a finite duration, with clear start and end dates.
Community Engagement funding is available for organizations undertaking a commemorate initiative that recognizes and commemorates at least one of the following groups:

Eligible Expenditures:
Eligible expenditures must be directly related to the project. Only expenditures incurred from the date of receipt of an application to the end of the agreement period may be considered for reimbursement. Priority will be given to expenditures related to the commemorative elements of the project, rather than expenditures associated with hospitality.
