Grants of up to $1,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations and the local school district to benefit Ripon area residents. Funding is intended for programs and projects that meet emerging needs within local communities; offer more effective ways of serving community residents, and strengthen local nonprofits. The strongest applications will offer new or proven approaches to accomplish the goals listed above.

Up to $1,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants from the fund benefit charitable organizations serving Ripon area residents.
Geographic scope: City of Ripon and the Ripon Area School District

Tax-exempt organizations including charitable, scientific, social service, educational and religious organizations described in ยง 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code, as well as government agencies, are eligible to apply for grants. Organizations that are not public charities may apply through a fiscal sponsor.

The Foundation is unable to award grants to individuals, except in the case of scholarships, which typically are awarded directly to the educational institution on behalf of the student.

Grants Will Not Fund:
- Debt reduction or retirement
- Reimbursement for previously incurred expenses
- Religious organizations for sacramental or theological purposes
- Political or lobbying activities

Grant decisions: Mid-December
