Grant Description
Grant to a Tennessee nonprofit organization in eligible locations for programs that address social issues. Applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to submitting an application. Eligible organizations are those that address the areas of homelessness, recidivism, poverty, human trafficking, addiction, illiteracy, and hunger. Organizations must be located in and serve residents of at least one of the ten counties in the Nashville Economic Market area (Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, Wilson).

Specifically, Impact100 Nashville is seeking to award this grant to the nonprofit that offers creative and innovative services to its population to facilitate the transition out of a cyclical lifestyle and is able to show that results of their services ended the cycle for the population it serves.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Organizations eligible to apply for an Impact100 Nashville grant must be:
- Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization).
- Located in and serve residents of at least one of the ten counties in the Nashville Economic Market area.
- Past Impact100 Nashville grantees must wait 5 years from the date of their award before re-applying.
- Able to submit independently prepared, audited financial statements for the past three fiscal years. If at least two years of audited financial statements are not available, must be able to provide details on why audited statements are not available (for example, organization is not required to have audited financials)
- Submit federal income tax returns for the past three years
- Have average gross revenue above $500,000 and below $5,000,000 over past three years.

Priority will be given to organizations that:
- Target under-served populations.
- Highlight unmet needs in the community.
- Will have a high impact on beneficiaries or communities.

Ineligible
Grants will not be provided for:
- Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.
- Individuals or private foundations.
- Activities that are religious or political in nature.
- Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns.
- Funding proposals that utilize less than the full grant award.

Pre-Application Information
Important Dates:
- June 1 – 17th: Open Call for LOI Submissions
- July 24th – Aug. 26th: Grant Applications Open for Selected Organizations
- Oct 2 – 20th: Site Visits for Semi Finalists
- Nov. 2: Annual Voting Event

Each organization may submit only one grant application per year and must address the Focus Area described in the criteria.
