Grant to a Tennessee nonprofit organization for programs that address social issues in eligible locations. Applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to submitting an application. Eligible organizations are those that address the areas of homelessness, recidivism, poverty, human trafficking, addiction, illiteracy, and hunger. Priority will be given to proposals that offer innovative solutions to the community. Organizations must be located in the Nashville area.

Specifically, the Foundation is seeking to award this grant to the nonprofit that offers creative and innovative services to its population to facilitate the transition out of a cyclical lifestyle and is able to show that results of their services ended the cycle for the population it serves.

Impact100 seeks proposals that expend grant funds within 24 months.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations eligible to apply for an Impact100 Nashville grant must be:
-Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization).
-Located in and serve residents of the counties in the greater Nashville area
-In possession of at least three full years (36 months) of independently prepared, audited, or reviewed financial statements.
-Past Impact100 Nashville grantees must wait 5 years from the date of their award before re-applying.

Priority will be given to organizations that:
-Have annual operating budgets above $500,000 and below $5,000,000.
-Target under-served populations.
-Highlight unmet needs in the community.
-Will have a high impact on beneficiaries or communities.

Grants will not be provided for:
Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.
-Individuals or private foundations.
-Activities that are religious or political in nature.
-Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns.

-June 1st – June 19th: Open call for Letter of Intent submissions
-July 27th – August 21st: Grant applications open for selected organizations
-October 12th – October 29th: Site visits for semi-finalists
-November 12th: Voting event for finalists

-The Grants Committee ultimately selects two to three finalists to compete for the $100,000 grant at the Annual Meeting.
