Community Foundation for Northern Virginia - Community Investment Funds
Grants to Virginia nonprofit organizations for community programs in eligible regions. Funding is intended for programs addressing education, workforce preparation, child and youth development, and support for the elderly, the impoverished, and families in the armed services. Projects must benefit residents of Northern Virginia, defined as the areas within Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park.
In 2020, the Community Investment Funds will accept applications in the following areas:
Grant requests for capacity building, program, or general support purposes will be considered. Funding may be used to support, expand, or enhance existing programs or to start new programs.

Grants of $35,000 (provided as $17,500 per year for two years) for Health, Mental Health, and Aging
Grants of $22,000 for the Fund to Benefit Children and Youth in Alexandria and Fairfax County
