Grants to Colorado nonprofit organizations to support law and justice programs to benefit the community in eligible counties. Past funding has supported programs for abused children, a teen court for juvenile offenders, child care for court attendees, and a free legal clinic that helps decrease the gap in access to justice and legal services. Funding can be used to support activities in El Paso and Teller counties.
Grants must satisfy at least one of the Foundation's charitable purposes:
Promotes education, knowledge, and awareness of the law;
Improves the administration of justice and the delivery of legal services;
Assists in providing legal services to those unable to afford them;
Provides scholarships and grants consistent with these purposes; and/or
Serves similar charitable and community needs in El Paso and Teller Counties.
