Grants to USA nonprofit organizations in multiple states for general operating support, capital projects, and programs that benefit local communities. Focus areas include hunger relief, health, education, and housing. Eligible projects are those that benefit residents in the areas where the funding source does business.

The Andersen Corporate Foundation provides funding in the following communities: Headquarters (Twin Cities metro area and St. Croix Valley including eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin); Des Moines, IA; Detroit, MI; Dubuque, IA; Garland, TX; Goodyear, AZ; Luray, VA; Menomonie, WI.

Giving Areas: 

  • Housing: Funding to increase housing access and stability, including services to transition out of homelessness, and provide and maintain affordable housing.
  • Health: Funding to advance health access and equity, including support for critical access hospitals/clinics/providers, expanded access to mental health services, and expanded access to preventative healthcare.
  • Hunger Relief: Funding to address food insecurity and increase food access, including providing healthy and culturally relevant foods.
  • Education: Funding to advance equity and opportunity in education, and funding to support and raise the profile of trades and industrial education programs.

• Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
• Alignment with the listed giving areas
• Organizations located and/or working in the Andersen communities listed

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are accepted from April 1 – 30 and September 1 – 30, 2021.

Organizations may submit one request per application cycle.

Organizations are strongly encouraged, but not required, to submit a brief (one to three paragraphs) description of their request to the email address listed below in advance of an application to receive staff feedback and guidance.
