Grant Description
Grants of up to $500 to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Iowa, Louisiana, and Texas K-12 school administrators, teachers, or parent volunteers for classroom projects in eligible regions. Funding is intended for a variety of projects and activities in communities where the funding source has a business presence.

Eligible Communities - A school is eligible to submit an application if it is located in one of the communities below.

    • Lake, Summit, Chaffee and Eagle Counties

  • Texas

Grants will be awarded to support projects in the project categories below:

  • Environment
  • Mining, mineral and natural resources
  • Reading and literacy
  • STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply:
Applicants may be teachers, school administrators or parent volunteers/PTA officials at public and private schools located in one of the eligible communities listed below. Applications must be submitted through the K-12 school.

Ineligible
If a school is nearby one of the communities listed above and not in the community, then the school is not eligible to submit a Mini-Grants for Education application.

Pre-Application Information
Timeline:
- Application Opens: July 1
- Application Closes: September 15 at 5pm Arizona time
- Awards Announced: week of November 1

A school is eligible to receive up to four (4) mini-grants during each application period. Each applicant/teacher/classroom may receive one mini-grant award per school year.
