Grant Description

Awards to Colorado individuals, organizations, and businesses in eligible locations to recognize outstanding charitable support and volunteerism within the community. Awards are intended to honor residents who have shown commitment through financial support, dedication, leadership, motivation, community service, and charitable responsibility. Eligible nominees are located in Summit County.

Each November in honor of National Philanthropy Day, The Summit Foundation recognizes outstanding community members through its Annual Philanthropy Awards. Modeled after national and state celebrations in which residents are honored for their contributions to their community, Summit County Philanthropy Awards has been celebrated annually since 1991.

The following awards are available:

Outstanding Business
Outstanding Educator
Dr. Oliver Stonington Outstanding Philanthropist
Outstanding Employee in a Nonprofit Organization
Outstanding Volunteer
Outstanding Youth D
avid Olbright Outstanding Youth Mentor

The Summit Foundation accepts nominations for and from Summit County individuals, organizations and businesses.

2022 Philanthropy Award Dates:
- October 10th: Deadline for Philanthropy Award Nominations
- October 20th: All winners will be notified directly
- November 17th: Philanthropy Awards, 5:45pm | Beaver Run Resort | Main Ballroom
