Grants to Maryland individuals and groups for community arts projects that involve Bowie residents. Funding is intended to support interactive experiences such as group art opportunities and lessons, workshops, public performances, hands-on arts activities and experiences, and the development and performance of a community choir or band.
The City of Bowie has established annual grants for the Arts to support public awareness of artistic enterprises, creative excellence, artistic diversity and overall involvement of the arts in the community.
Project proposals that address one or more of these criteria will receive a preference:
