- Be classified as a 501(c)3, be under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)3, or be a program of a 501(c)3.
- In addition to a completed application with signatures from both the nonprofit and the nonprofit's board chair person, ServeWyoming requires the nonprofit to attach its operating budget, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, tax exemption letter and a list of current board members. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Be willing to seek new ways to improve and/or evaluate existing projects.
- Staff, board and volunteers are open to cooperate with ServeWyoming to conduct pre- and post-evaluations to determine measurable impact.
- Complete ServeWyoming reports.
- Be willing to work with other nonprofits.
- Demonstrate strong and passionate leadership.
- Upon completion of service grant, be willing to work with ServeWyoming to provide additional data as needed.
- Have at least one-full time employee or a designated volunteer committed to working with the pro bono consultant.
Service Grants are not provided to organizations that lack written policies about discrimination or have a track record of discriminating on the basis of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, ethnicity, disability, national origin, political affiliation or religious belief.
