Grants of up to $10,000 to USA nurses for research projects that address inadequately tested healthcare environments. It is anticipated that research will answer inquiries from new and non-traditional perspectives. Research might address diversity and succession planning in majority organizations, nurse-led care delivery models in evidence based partnership with patients and families, or professional interdependency.
Research should address the following priorities:
1) Develop core competencies of nurse leaders across the care continuum to support current and emerging roles.
2) Support the design and implementation of care delivery and population health management models across the care continuum.
3) Support the provision of safe, quality care in delivery systems grounded in healthful practice environments.
4) Communicate the value of nursing in healthcare to all stakeholders.
Estimated Size of Grant:
One Year.
