Grants to Israel and Singapore companies for joint industrial research and development projects. Some applicants must submit an executive summary in advance of submitting a full application. Funding may be used for feasibility studies as well as commercialization activities for products and technologies that demonstrate the potential for commercialization.
SIIRD provides funding for joint R&D projects between companies based in Singapore and Israel. The SIIRD funding covers the R&D portion of the companies’ total development cost in the joint projects. Part of the funding is also extended towards joint commercialization activities in the project. Examples of joint commercialization activities are joint participation in trade exhibitions and development of joint marketing collaterals.

- Full-scale R&D Project: Fund up to US$1M or 50% of the total qualified project cost, whichever is lower.
- Mini R&D Project: US$200,000 or 50% of the total qualified project cost, whichever is lower. Fund up to US$30, 000 for commercialization activities.
- Feasibility study: Fund up to US$30,000 or 50% of the total qualified project cost, whichever is lower.
- Pilot Project: Fund up to US$1M or 50% of the total qualified project cost, whichever is lower.
- Full-scale R&D Project: project duration not more than 1 year.
- Mini R&D Project: project duration not more than 1 year.
- Pilot Project: project duration not more than 1 year.
