Heartland United Way
Grants of up to $5,000 to Nebraska nonprofit organizations in eligible regions to enhance the lives of local residents. Priority will be given to proposals addressing education, financial stability, and health and food security. Eligible applicants are organizations that are located and providing programs in Hamilton, Howard, Merrick counties, or in the rural communities in Hall County.
The Heartland United Way’s mission is to improve lives and create possibilities. The Board of Directors adopted a bold goal to decrease childhood poverty and to fight for the Health, Education and Financial Stability for every person in every community. The Heartland United Way helps feed people facing food insecurity; prepare children for success in school, work and life; and connect people in financial distress with resources to pay bills and stay in their homes.
Preference for funding will be given to organizations that provide programs or services that align with one of the following areas:
