Grant Description

Grants to Oklahoma K-12 math or science teachers in Canadian, Cleveland and Oklahoma Counties to attend top-quality regional, national and international conferences and institutes in their chosen field to ultimately enhance their students’ learning experience. The grants help cover the costs of tuition, travel, lodging and the expense of hiring substitute teachers.

Eligibility:

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must currently be employed by a public school district in the Greater Oklahoma City area, which includes Canadian, Cleveland and Oklahoma Counties.

Applicants must currently be teaching math or science in an elementary or secondary classroom.

Applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience in Oklahoma prior to the conference or meeting for which this grant will be used.

Applications must be postmarked on or before Friday, December 18, 2015.
