Estimated Size of Grant:

The average grant awarded is $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Guidelines:
• Your nonprofit must be a 501(c)3;
• If your nonprofit previously received a grant from The Aultman Foundation, you must wait two years from your last grant application before submitting another grant application (for example, receiving a grant from The Aultman Foundation in 2019 means you are eligible to apply again in 2021);
• If your nonprofit previously received a grant from The Aultman Foundation, you must have successfully submitted a progress report and a final report demonstrating your grant was fully spent;
• The Aultman Foundation does not fund individuals, capital needs or campaigns, annual campaigns, multi-year projects, endowments, or government entities including public school systems.

Pre-Application Information:

2021 Deadlines:
Letters of Inquiry (LOI) for the 2021 Grant Round will be accepted Jan. 1, 2021.
The full application must be completed by Feb. 28, 2021.

If you feel your project is a good match for The Aultman Foundation, submit a letter of inquiry during the appropriate time period. Letters of Inquiry (LOI) for the 2021 Grant Round will be accepted Jan. 1, 2021 through Feb. 15, 2021. The LOI will be used to determine if the request fits The Aultman Foundation's guidelines. You may be asked to revise your request to better fit the guidelines.

Email is the preferred method of submitting your LOI. You should receive a reply within 7 days of submitting your LOI (10 days for hard copy LOIs). If you do not receive a reply within this time period, please contact Abby Shaub by using the contact information below. If your project fits TAF guidelines, you will be emailed a link to access the online grant proposal system. Otherwise, you will be told why your proposal does not fit our guidelines and could not be accepted. Being asked to submit a full proposal does not guarantee that you will be funded or that you will be fully funded. Please do not wait until the end of the grant period to submit your Letter of Inquiry.

Note that full proposals are by invitation only. The full application must be completed by Feb. 28, 2021.
