Grants of up to $10,000 to Arizona nonprofits in eligible regions for programs to improve the quality of life of area residents. Funding is intended for programs in the areas of health and welfare, arts and culture, aged care, and children. Organizations must serve residents of Peoria.

Agencies seeking General Fund Not-For-Profit funds must be Not-For-Profit (Section 501(c)(3)) agencies providing human and/or cultural services that are essential to the health and well-being of the citizens of Peoria.

- Federal Grant Agency Contracts Initiated: After Award Notice from HUD (expected October 2020)

The proposal submission deadline for agencies who wish to utilize these funds is January 29, 2020, at 5:00 PM.

All agencies who apply for grant funding will be required to appear before the Council Not-For-Profit Community Development Grant Subcommittee to present its proposal(s). Proposer’s Hearings are tentatively scheduled for February 25 and February 27, 2019. Agencies will be notified of the exact date and time.

Funds are anticipated to be available in July 2020 for the General Fund programs.
