Grants of up to $20,000 to California nonprofit organizations for programs to enhance the quality of life for local residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support the general operations of applicants working to address the needs of the community. Eligible proposals benefit the communities of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and/or Menlo Park.

PACF supports charitable nonprofit organizations whose programs generally focus on:

  • Uplifting the vulnerable
  • Supporting families
  • Enhancing community life
  • Supporting educational opportunities

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants typically range from $5,000 to $20,000.

Term of Contract:

One year of funding.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

PACF supports charitable nonprofit organizations whose programs serve the communities of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and/or Menlo Park.

PACF does not consider funding requests for fundraising events, endowment funds, capital and endowment campaigns, political or religious activities, deficit funding or cash reserves, for-profit schools, or basic research programs.
