Grants to Kansas nonprofit organizations in eligible locations that demonstrate and document excellence in quality artistic and cultural programs. Applicants must consult with program staff prior to applying. Funding is intended to provide operational support to qualifying arts and cultural organizations serving the Wichita community.
The City of Wichita strives to encourage and provide financial support to the arts and cultural organizations that demonstrate and document excellence in quality artistic and cultural programs, professional artistic and administrative staffing, financial stability, and their contribution to the community at large. The objective is to provide fiduciary support to exemplary organizations that contribute to the quality of life and add to the economic growth and vitality of the community.

Maximum amounts are based on an organization's prior year actual expenses excluding in-kind services;
- Large organizations with annual budgets of $500,000 or more, the maximum request allowed is 8% or up to $75,000.
- Medium organizations with annual budgets between $250,000 and $499,999, the maximum request allowed is 10%.
- Small organizations with annual budgets from $1 to $249,999, the maximum request allowed is 15%.
